What brake pads are good?

Post by unleashedcc » Sun Jul 27, 2008 10:43 pm

My homeboy just gave me the Power-Slot slotted rotors (6months old) for free since he converted to the Srt all around brake system, plus I hooked him up with tires. My question is what pads should I buy for them?

:withstupid:

Both are awesome pads, but I think EBC might have the slight edge.

I've also had really good luck with the duralast semi-metallic pads from autozone. I was planning to get new rotors, so I slapped these pads on to get me by until then. Huge improvement over the pads the previous owner installed, scared the crap out of me when I finally had to use them.

Just remember to bed-in the pads correctly, that is the most important part of new brakes. I didn't know when I first started driving, so I had crappy braking for a good year until I learned. Here is the proper procedure: http://www.zeckhausen.com/bedding_in_brakes.htm
