for that you might as well just buy the misconception bumper from howell. I have an oem srt bumper and thats just too much to fill in with bondo or urethane filler.
supertrick_05, i didnt pay too close attention to the bumper you posted. i see that the pic you put up is with an 03. It doesnt have some of the curvatures that the 02 version has. Your better off just spending the money on the howell bumper. the viper 03 just doesnt look right.

got a link for the howell bumper? is it nicer than the SRT Design group unit from DC?

its not a very good pic of it IMO. As for if it looks better looking. Its just normal srt front bumper without the nostrils. thats exactly what the srt design bumper is.

I do notice a couple small diffs. The SRT Design bumper has the mounts around the foglights painted the body color, wheras they're black here.
I guess the choice is whichever someone can get ahold of for less.

IMO the Howell bumper is the nicer looking of the two because it still has the lower lip portion of the bumper.

thanks silver. very helpfull. I'll consider this. The only prob i have with the howell one is the requirement of a SRT style hood. I'm sure that would be the case on 00-02... but i wonder if still the case on 03+

I may be wrong but wouldn't the srt design front need the srt hood as well?

i saw it on a car without the SRT hood.... but it could have been an aftermarket hood nonetheless.
Thought to play with anyways. I'm still at the indecisive point if i want to ditch the stock SX front bumper. I've grown quite attached to the stock front end.
maybe i should flip a coin. lol.

i think they either painted or attached the foglight bezels to this particular howell bumper. The srt design bumper does not use the bezels as far as im aware. Yes also it has the lower lip with compliments the front very nicely.
the srt hood is only less than 1/4" longer than the normal hood. with some small modification you can probably pull the front bumper up just a tiny bit to make it more flush to your stock hood.
Im going with the howell bumper however with the stock hood for now. I may get a scooped hood but only if i get a great deal or get a CF hood with some coat damage(i want it painted).

so kevo, you're running the howell as we speak with stock hood? or are you ordering one to try it out? what year neon do you have?
I'd be very curious to see how it turns out.

i have an 03 and nope, dont have it yet. more than likely next week as i still owe the seller some money. it works 100% with a stock hood but as i said, there is a bit more of a gap. Im sure that can be sorted out.
