I almost sinned today

i went to the VW dealer and test drove a few cars that i would love to have. we sat down and talked numbers and the offers they gave me were really great, i would actually save some money. walked outside for a few minutes to clear my mind and stood there staring at my neon.... went back in and told the guy 'look man, im sorry but i just dont have the heart to get rid of this car, ill wait until its paid off and get one flat out because i just cant get rid of this thing'

my g/f whose a hardcore VW fan, which i am too, i just dont like the 4th gen's. was telling me to think very hard about this because i would regret it. i guess she was right

Why did you dislike the Neon so much? Aside from all the body kits/stages you went through , the accident etc.

just wasn't the car for me really. nothing i really wanted in a vehicle and i was stupid to buy it. i don't like 4 doors, i hate the color yellow, and i did WAY to much stupid shit to it.

Now, if i ever own a neon again (which who knows, i DO need a beater at some point

) then i'll take a completely different route with it

i will only drive a manual. i HATE auto cars.

and besides, that razzi kit was off in a few months, and i actually loved the car back in those stages

it's when i started dumping money into it for all the wrong things, and when i started buying used junk because i thought i was getting a good deal. THAT'S when i hated it

I am sad to say I am looking at 05 Eclipse spyders right now. I love those cars so much. But my neon is too hacked up to sell it. I would have to buy a complete new interior and such. Ya I would just keep it as a beater. BTW my neon is paid off so. But I know how ya feel man.

lol yea cause the new dodges look sooooooo nice.

no american car company has a design that i find appealing less chrysler/dodge (jesus christ where are they getting these ideas from every car in thier lineup is butt ugly).

i dont like any of the jap cars out now, i loved nissan but lately they have gotten too expensive and they are starting to follow trends that i dont like either.

there are alot of german cars i like tho. only one is within my price range that i have any intrest in and that would be a rabbit. the nice thing too is the turbo kit being released for them requires very little work to throw on.

I will agree with you there. I worked at a lube shop for a year and v dubs make something so simple as an oil change so freaking difficult. The filter is ussually rediculous to get at.

LOL shit what VW are you talking about, i have no problems changing oil on my '95 INFACT its easier than my neon AND the filter housing cap and drain plug is all sorts of fucked up lol
