05 ACR rims on 01 ACR

Post by srt4evah » Wed Jul 30, 2008 3:40 pm

Hey guys, I installed a set of 05 ACR rims on my 01 ACR last night, and I noticed the 05 rims seem to leave a lot less stud to put the nut on than the PT steelies that were on there.

Do any of you happen to know if you need longer studs to safely run the 05 ACR rims on the 01 hubs?

SlvrACR ran the new ACR BBS's on his 01 or 02 (cant remember) ACR. I don't remember him mentioning anything.

All Neons run the same studs front and rear. The alloy wheels do take up more of the stud than a steel wheel do. As long as you can get 3 full turns on the nut before the nut touches the wheel, you'll be fine.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...
