Any hardware store will sell the Resin, And cloth, in various sizes depending on what you need... However i will say, If you have NEVER used fiberglass, be sure to use the stuff outside where it can ventilate. Secondly, i would experiment with it a bit first so you know how it's going to turn out.. as fiberglass isn't the easiest substance in the world to work with(IMO).

You need resin and fiberglass mat, theirs several different forms of the mat. Some of the metal insert onces work best on bigger projects.

its gonna be alot of work. i would build some kind of frame out of cardboard underneath the bumper and then add the glass to the top of it. after its shaped the way you want it you'll just need to trim it.

The fiberglass will NOT like sticking to that bumper. I repeat. It will NOT stick correctly. And it sounds like you are a newbie to glassing. That is a big project and it requires some good tools and knowlage of the product. I would NOT reccomend you attempt this unless you want to be buying a new bumper.

there are lots of methods to do that, but none of them are suggested for a newbie to fg. most people have no idea about the amount of time and effort it takes to make something a finished working product. this is definately not a project to learn fg on.

common guys you cant learn if you dont try. as long as you go slow and take your time anything is possible. i say go for it contagious. it can be done. many people have dont it. just work slow it will probably take a while but it will be worth the wait. and there is nothing like admiring your own work. may mess up a couple times but oh well i say you can do it.

i agree that you will not learn until you try, but choose yor battles wisely. start with something small, like a speaker box or kick panel, not a brand new bumper.

^^^^ I totally agree with Kornholio using fiberglass and plastic isnt going to work AT ALL!! If you had the time to come to Md I could fix it with plastic and it would look like it belongs there, but it will cost you. You can learn by trying again and again but if nobody shows you how to do it the right way you will never get it right.

Your best bet is to use a special bumper adhesive and bumper repair kit. And work your way off of that. Trust me. This is goin to be alot harder than you think. Def something you are goin to want to take to a shop. I am not flaming you for it being your first time and trying to learn. I am all for that and give you props for trying to dive right in. But you gotta pick your battles man. This is going to be a big project that without the proper knowlage of material and skills isn't going to happen. If you wanna play with glass mold in a guage pod first. Learn on a dash piece. Mold a tv in. Start small. You will only learn by practicing. But this is not a good idea.

FG will not work its too hard and the bumper is too flexible. So it will crack off.

You need to get some Urethane its more pliable.

Also, Can't believe you destoryed that bumper. AHHHH :banghead:

Whats that on the picture? Junkyard experience? The bumper looks like shit. Horryble fitment, gruesome grill mesh and wrong headlights.
Better show us no pics anymore - until you've found a way to make it right.
With this setup better drive not around - ricers will laugh about you!

No. ;)
Yeah sorry - was maybe too hard.
Okay: Constructive critism:
Try to connect upper parts of a 00-02 bumper (the headlight area) with the SRT bumber. If you're able to do - it will look killer.
Or trade the headlights for a 03+ set...
