Also any of you ever get deeper sound or bass when one of the doors are open? I'm wondering if dynamat would fix this problem.

no, dynamat wont create the same effect, it will stop the panels you put it on from absorbing the sound so you "hear" more of the wave, but no it wont make it louder for the same reasons opening a door will

Think of your car as a box for a subwoofer. When you open a door, you change the physics when it comes to sound. Like having a ported subwoofer box.

He hit the nail on the head. That is why at SPL competitions you are allowed one run with the windows rolled down or a door open. Dynamat is just butyl based sound deadener. It only adds mass to a panel creating less vibration, it doesn't actually change the physics of the sound wave.

Turn it up to YOUR normal volume, roll the windows up then notice the difference wen you roll the windows down. it sound a hell of alot different. opening the door only makes it sound louder outside not inside.
