do the RFR fender flares work for 00-02 neons?

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

i don't see why not. the fenders are the same on SRT's and non-SRT's iirc

It really doesnt give too much info. If you could tell where it was connecting then u would be able to get a clearer answere. But honestly I think it probably attaches to the corner of the bumper and since the srt bumper hangs lower I dont think it would work. But hey thier all neons anything is possible.

yes they will... they attach inside the front fender well plastic.... They are basically spacers... they connect between the fender well plastic and the bumper..

just so everyone knows......those are NOT fender flares.

Someone on SRTForums makes those exact "flares"

All it is, is a metal spacer that goes in the wheel well. you unscrew the two screws that connect the fender liner to the bumper and install that "flare" between them, pushing the bottom of the bumper outward.

If you buy them you'll have to trim them to work with your bumper since the shape of the bottom part is different and curves inward where the SRT has that lower lip.

You can make them yourself.

yea but it still only pushes the bumper out.... i want to do something that will push the whole fender out along with the bumper, so it keeps a smooth body line when you look at it down the side....

Yeah I don't think they would fit since the SRT bumper is longer than the Neon bumper. I would try making them yourself first as Diablo said. I have the RFR ones, and they have three bolt holes on them. I could try to take a picture for you tomorrow (if I remember lol).
