are e brake cables the same?

Have some questions about how to achive better handling and stopping power using different springs, upgrading to coilovers, questions on swaybars, bushings, different rotors, pads, ect... Having any steering problems or questions about steering racks, tie rods, tie rod ends, ect... ask these questions here.

NO.

well, r/t and srt-4 cables are the same, but if you have rear drum brakes (se, and sxt) then they are not the same. If you are planning on doing a drum to disc conversion you will need r/t or srt-4 cables.

he cut them. that is the only thing from the whole car that he cut. ill just get stainless steel.

no no no!

you're talking about two different things!

The steel braided brake lines you speak of are exactly that. Brake lines. They have fluid in them.

Your first question was about brake cables. Those attach to the parking brake lever.

buy some r/t cables from www.rockauto.com (they'll be new, but they're only like $75 for both sides)

I got my steel braided lines off ebay for $90 (all four wheels with shipping)

Any rear disc set up 2gn will have the cables you need :thumbup:
At the pick and pull near me is an ATx 2gn with rear disc :shock:

I know that with civics some people took disc brakes from integras, or even accords with larger setups in the back.

I'm not sure, but you could MAYBE get a larger rear disc setup from a stratus or intrepid. I was hanging out with my friend yesterday, and found out that his '02 stratus has rear disc brakes...

ive heard that u could and im thinking about going to the junkyard and finding out if i could, lol thats what i alwayz do I go to the junkyard and try things out on the cars there . i already have rear disc so I just want to know if its possible.
