Suspension problems
SUSPENSION PROBS!!!!
so i have a 2002 dodge neon rt it has the mopar adjustable coilover suspension on it and the rear shocks are leaking but i dont want to spend the 700 dollars to buy a whole new strut setup with the adjustable coils......does anyone know if i can just buy the shock that go in the coils or am i limited to buying the whole new setup?????
You can't buy any parts for the MP/KW coil-overs separately. However, you can send the struts to KW for a rebuild (not sure on the price thou)
Question, did you adjust the coil-over height down from the setting that they came with?

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

The reason I ask if it was lowered is it may explain why your struts are leaking. How many miles are on them?

It may not, but both Mopar and K/W say not to lower the shocks past the factory stop because it will void the warranty. One of the reasons for this is because the shocks are designed to work withing a certain range (much like a stock strut). This could be why it is leaking.
