My car:
2000 Dodge Neon
Milage: body> 103076 motor> about 20,000
Color: Silver
Mods: Garage
..........Gives you an idea of what's been done. I added some new ngk iridium spark plugs and granatelli wires about 500 miles ago. The motor is good for 500+ horsepower. Stage IV axels. I have all receipts of the work that was done for the car. I've done all synthetic oil changes with a k&n filter every 3000 miles myself. New Battery.

The Bad:
-Clutch is slipping bad/replaced with brand new clutch
-Suspension needs some tweaking/changed to stock srt4 struts/springs
-non-painted front and rear bumpers
-few scratches on roof and rear passanger side quarter panel
-small dent in drivers side door
-interior pieces removed for painting
-no muffler
-tires are completely bald
-front bearings are completely shot
-rotars need to be replaced as well as the new pads due to bearings breaking while driving.

Best bet with this car would probably be use the engine, sell the aftermarket parts, and trash the rest? Looking at about $600 for new tires, $600 for new rotars and pads, and $500 for new bearings. Looking to sell the car for about $2250.

Pictures:
-Some pictures need to be updated but this is pretty the car minus the srt4 rims.

wouldn't a better paying job be more beneficial than a different car?

getting rid of a high maintenance performance car for a more practical daily driver is probably the best thing that I can do at this point in my life.

pretty sure they're not stock, but don't know if they're the je/eagle set up.

i'd have to make a phone call to find out everything about the engine rebuilt, because it doesn't say exactly what was done on the receipt

think of when you first learned how to drive stick, and when you gave it too much gas and let off the clutch really slow and your motor revved up high until you finely let off the clutch enough for it to move a little bit.. Thats how it is driving the car. It drives fine in normal driving conditions but the moment you put on too much gas hoping for acceleration... nope... the engine just revs up till the clutch catches. (assuming it's the clutch) I haven't driven over 45mph with the clutch like this. It also slips a little between gear shifting if you're giving it too much gas, this frusterated me at times.

I've owned the car since 2002. It has seen very limited driving due to license issues and silly minor issues causing the car to not be drivable.

The turbo started out as a 20g turbo which I then swapped to a 16g turbo. The motor was completely rebuilt in 2004 blah blah blah not much is said on the receipt and I didn't ask much either cause I wasn't interested in cars or driving at that point. :)

it's in pretty much the same shape as the pictures, it's been stored inside a shop for a majority of the time. Just sitting waiting to get the clutch fixed. Once I did start driving it didn't take to long before the bearings gave out so now it's just sitting longer.
