of course every car enthusiast doesn't want to sell their 'creation'. But I have a lot to consider here. Sorry for delayed responses, my e-mail is very cluttered and I tend to focus one at a time on responses.
I do not wish to trade the car, just trying to 'feel' what the car is currently worth so I can get the most on selling it flat out without parting anything out.

I am interested in selling it and do plan on selling it. Sorry if I sound confusing.GunmetalNeon wrote:Wow... then don't say it's for sale to mess with people. Lock this thread if he doesn't want to sell it. I considered actually buying your car...
take a look at my garage to get a feel everything that has been done. I just updated it and have all receipts. I am also planning on sanding down and prepping all the interior pieces for painting. I think $2200 would be a steal but am aiming for maybe $2500 since it is currently in a shop. If the car were in driving condition I would shoot for $3000 but it is not.BlackRT? wrote: obviously you think its worth 2200 because thats what the price you posted it forsale for correct? its a 10 year old 2000 neon how much do you think it worth?

The tough part about getting any real $ out of it, is unless you/the buyer have it appraised, and get special insurance on it, no insurance company will insure it/pay out, for more than fair market value of an average 2000 neon with 90,000 + miles.
Which isn't going to be too much more than $1500 to $2000 (optimistic). So the risk is on the buyer if something happens to the car. That is what makes a modded car a tough sell.
I am not at all knocking your asking price, just stating the harsh reality of life.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
