04 r/t computer

ok could i put an r/t computer from an 04 r/t into my 05 st with r/t swap?
2005 neon sxt 2.0L 16v
custom cai,unorthadox udp,magnacore 8.5mmrace wires,ngk pllugs,R/T HEADER and ACTIVE R/T MANIFOLD,srt cat back,ps2 mopar lip kit and unforunately atx

Probably not. I haven't heard it get done without a lot of work. Plus, you're running an ATX, and you wont have a controller for your transmission.

no because you have an auto trans and there are no provisions in the R/T computer for automatic transmission control.

Might take some research, but the TCM from an older A604 car might be made to work. There were a few inputs linked between the PCM and TCM, like TPS for example. I'm sure with enough effort it could be done, but an MTX or 3 speed ATX swap might be an easier option. (unless the 3.94 MTX was part of the swap anyways) :roll:

Well if you didn't get the wire harness from the donor car for the TCM to ATX it would be a friggin' nightmare. But there really wasn't much to the PCM/TCM links. The tricky part might be getting a speedo reading tho. That might be the bitch that kicks it in the balls.
But he didn't say if the trans was part of the swap, at least not in this thread.

Would it throw codes because it wouldn't sense the active manifold?
