NO REVERSE!

wtf lol ok so i come back to my house after gettin my hair cut, so i get home and park my car and when i park my car i always put it in reverse and pull the ebrake...well the bastard wouldnt go into reverse at all, i had the clutch pushed all the way down, i could get into all forward gears, it just wouldnt slide into reverse....so i shut the car off and try to get it into reverse without pushing the clutch in, still no luck, so i said fuck it, i put it in first and pull the ebrake and then i just tried it one more time and it finally went in, like butter might i add lol, then i tried it again and i have the same problem...does anyone know in the hell is going on?!?!?!

I would try doing the 1-2 then reverse and see if that fixes it. I used to have the same issue with my 02. But putting it in 1st then 2nd then reverse would work most of the time. doing that releases the safety designed to keep you from throwing it into reverse well moving.

ok so i just went out and drove around the block enough to get into all 5 gears...then with the clutch pushed in, VERY lightly tried to get it into reverse...GREAT SUCCESS!!! all is well!

omg...it was my shifter bushings...completely gone...no bushings at all...in either the reverse or forward cables!!!!

dont worry i riged it for now and i have bushings on the waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! modern rocks!

word thats what i got and i ordered control arm bushings...i know there gone...i can hear/feel them shift everytime i stop or start to take off lol its really annoying but there out of stock of the control arm bushings...but they will send them when they get some more in stock but thank god they have the shifter bushings!!!!!!
