Does it shift OK? I would check the connectors for the TCM/ATX. If all is clean and tight yor TCM prolly has taken a dump. Not sure, exactly how/where they are on the '02's

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

It would slip before a leak set the CEL. There are no "leak detectors" tho it would be nice. Generally that is called a weekly inspection.
Try resetting the PCM, and see if it comes back. I would replace the cooler lines before they do have a catastrophic failure. It could just be wear, but usually the ATX goes into limp mode if too much fluid volume is needed to engage the clutches. (It is measured every time) It will shift into 2nd gear and stay there. Then the car needs to be shut off and restarted after a minute or two and it will shift normal for a little while then do it again. Sometimes it is the TCM, but most times the ATX is done. You may as well take it to the dealer and have them look into it if it comes back. My Mom's Concorde did the same thing and it was the TCM/related and $80.00 later she was on her way. Just never know.
