IMO - that looks as goofy as 12 foglights on the front of the car. ;)

This was some white out that I put on there for the hell of it to see how it may look. Took the pic and wiped it off.

I guess it wont look good because it is not balanced with something else white across from it.

Thanks guys just thought I might get some opinions and so far 4 bad and 0 good so I too say screw it I will keep it clean.

Good man! I used to love raised white letter tires, but I think they only look good on more 'muscley' cars... And nowadays with lower profile tires coming more and more popular... You see those going away.

Well it starts out as a good idea in my head then it slowly makes its way to the car and if it ends up looking goofy then its off of it just like that.

I did that same thing a few months ago. I got favorable reviews. I think its the red color. I too used white-out so I could wash it off. I was thinking of doing it permanatly, but I have not ventured there yet. :)

for some reason, i like it on the red, but not on the silver...interesting idea though

To me it has nothing to do with the color. On the red car it is balanced because there is something on the opposite side of the tire that is also white. The silver car doesn't have that. Either way it's not something I'd do to my car but if you like it, run with it.

LOL.

dude... don't do it.
we drive neons, not 4x4 pickups with lift kits.

just remember...
on 4x4 = good
on 2gn = FUGLY.

just my $0.0000459 cents.

It is hard to pull off the white letters on the tires on a car. I have only seen a couple car that pulled it off nice. One of them was a Focus, one civic, and 2 local Skylines.

I keep most all my modifications to a minimum and to ones I can change back in a day. That way, if something happens to my Neon or I want to trade it in, I can do it quickly. :D

I saw Greg do this to his neon awhile back when he did....and to my surprise I really liked it. It's different but it looks good on his red neon. I think it DOES have alot to do with color, but also the fact that is no "balance" as far as font in concerned on the silver neon.
