ok went to the drag strip 2night for some reason my car wouldn't re past 5317 rpms , what would cuz this im not trowing any code i changed my plugs with ngk copper plugs but went with a colder plug and stok 7mm wires im really stumped ... i ran 18.9 @69mph last year i ran 17.1 before i installed the mag intake so wtf i haent been able to get in and hae it dyno tuned yet im using the afc neo to open the secondaries at 4900rpms

at 5300 rpms when i dynod the car my peak hp was at 5200

When you say it won't rev past 5317rpm's do you mean AT ALL like while driving :shock: ? Or are just sittin there revving the 5h!t out of the motor :beatstick: ? If it's while you're driving that's a major issue; if you're just "stoplight revving"... remember it's a Neon not a Honda, we don't rev to 10K bro sorry. :roll: . But that would be the rev limiter kickin in so you don't blow your rods out the oil pan.

EDIT* I see you only have the I/H/E done w/ an UDP. There's NO need to go to a colder plug (only necesary for boost/nitrous!) so switch BACK to a standard NGK Vpower (BK6RE) copper plug and dump the Magnacore wires for either the stockers or go to Crane wires; (I could swear I told you Magnacores=FAIL in another post??? If not then now you know :lol: ). That may start pointing you in the right direction if your problem's mechanical. In stock form, the PCM limits revs to about 4500-5K rpm's if you're just sittin there revvin it out. An AF/X-R unit will raise that limit to 6500...and give you a 7800 redline though you can't get one since you have an '05.

Looking at what mods you have there should be no reason for the revs to be mechanically limited unless it's the plugs/wires combo from what I can tell.
Again, if it's stoplight revvin you're talking about, read the 1st paragraph above.

no not sittin and reving when drag raing 1...2...33...no revy past 5317 and i dont hae magnaore anymore i had to get xact advance brand

Intake or exhaust restriction? Is it running smoothly and just hits a wall?

Try turning off the AFC, or setting it to 0% and see what happens.

yes thats how it is 1st gear ..2nd gear...3rd gear going,reving 5317 shuts down

yester day was playin with my friend and his ar on Lindbergh the local cruise/drag strip and the ar was fine res to 6000 eery gear with pedal to the floor and no hiccups or anythig its kinda like my ar has amind and says "your showing off so f**k you ,ill show you" lol this ony happens at the dragstrip Gateway Raceway
