Looks way better in person. As in the pics you can't get the full effect of the paint. It is a white base with a custom amount of gold pearly thrown in the clear. In the right sun and angels that gold POPS off the bike looks sick.04neon_07 wrote:Aken's bike is HAWT!

a common misconception of someone who has never ridden. know what the difference is acceleration wise between a 05 r6 and an 05 r1, damn near nothing till well over 100. a good rider might even nudge out in front for a bit on the r6. todays 600s are so powerful they'll kill you just as fast as a 1000. get what you want, not what stereotypes TELL you you should have. i got a 600 because its all i could afford for my first bike. but i would have gotten an r1 if i had the money, and i'd be alive today, because if u respect the bike, it can have 1000000whp, it still wont hurt you, but if u fuck off on a 250, itll bite you.

R1 has a lot more headroom to get yourself killed. R6 was my first ride as well, felt quicker downlow than an R1 but respect or not...you're going to fucking die if you screw up on an R1 vs an R6. Not to mention the wider wheelbase and weight difference.unsuper man wrote:Wenuden wrote:If you get an r1, I hope you have riding experience, cause if you dont, there'll be 1 less rider soon after you buy it.phs17 wrote:idk wat to get... a 600 GSXR or R1

There's this little thing called horsepower, and an r1 has about 35-50 more at the wheels than an r6... At any speed. Not just 100+.

gear an r6, see what happens, power to weight, power under the curve, it all comes into play. ive ridden, most of the bikes in this thread, im still alive. if u roll on the throttle to much on an r6, youll bin it, same with an r1. to try and compare throttle position vs lean angle vs my best friends balls vs whatever will get everyone no where. my point is to buy what you want, not what other people say is "safe".Wenuden wrote:there's a big difference in how an r1 reacts when you goose the throttle in a lean at 9000-10000 rpms than an r6 at the same speed in the same turn...
