Hahaha, I think I have seen that picture. Which is how I knew it was red.

That TB setup looks pretty sweet.

Yea, I won't be using an electronic IAC, so it works out pretty well that way. And surprisingly, the quality of the ebay TB is top notch. Frankly, I was surprised.

So now, I just have to throw a big BOV on it, wire it, and drive it. Then I can start figuring out how I can afford Carlisle.

Riding with Jake and I and rooming with someone will make it affordable. It's what I'm doing, at least.

Yea, but I really would prefer to bring the car if I can. I would have to throw a regular seat in it to drive it that far, but with like 10 gas cans, I should make it there heh.

Anybody coming from this area that could tow it out there? Gas wouldn't be cheap, but it'd be a helluva lot more comfortable, haha.

Got the new radiator mounts figured out. Oh, btw, I'm using a scirocco radiator since it fits better and has same side in/out.

I'm bringing the car over to the new garage next week and Sam's car is done, so this car is now on the top of the list. It needs wiring, a few little things, and time to run. I also want a speedometer, but I don't think it's in the budget right now.

I'm finally getting stuff done. Boost pipes are coated, fitted, and on. On to the radiator next.

I just gotta find that other box of piping and couplers. I'm short 3 T-bolts. And autozone studs suck terribly for the intake manifold. Never buy them.

It's a convenient place for now. I haven't set up the new garage with storage of any kind, so that's the closest place I could think of to the next place I plan to use it.

That or I'm doing a top-secret cooling system for my flux capacitor. I'll let you be the judge.

All boost pipes, intake manifold, throttle body, cables, etc. are finalized. Now on to replacing a damaged oil drain line, making sure axles fit again, modifying the fuel system a tiny bit, wiring, and she's running.

x3

I figured it was just a place to put it till you got it hooked up, but it just looked pretty funny. Like an underwater Neon, and that's the air intake so the car can dive

Actually you'd probably want the exhaust facing down so the pressure of air escaping would keep water out of the pipes and by virtue, the turbo and head.

Yes I figured as much, however if the water splashes up over the car (entering the puddle too fast, for example) it can get into the exhaust.

I'd be willing to bet that's an intake snorkel, not the exhaust.
