Well today is dyno day! I'm already late (started at 8am!), so I gotta rush my ass out the door and run over there...granted, my time slot is from 2-3...I wanted to see everyone's car run! Damnit...

Good luck, dyno days are indeed a blast.
Can't believe no one guessed what your HP is going to be...

122whp is my guess.

115 whp, and honestly I think that's a stretch. I could be wrong though, I don't know much about 2nd gens outside of SRTs.

132 hp at the crank factory rated, correct? And it is an NGC motor with little mods.

And a manual trans, so power loss is at a minimum...

Well it was on a mustang dyno, so it doesn't give you the best numbers. I got 100.4 peak hp and 105.6 peak torque. I guess it wasn't that bad, considering the weak-ass numbers that people were having. A twin turbo 300ZX with intake, exhaust, chip, and bfmic had only 215 hp and a 97 Grand Prix GTP with reprogrammed pcm, 3.4" pulley, full exhaust and intake had only 189 hp! So I think 100 hp is pretty decent. I'm uploading the pics/videos now.

God that would've been terrible to have a double digit whp number, lol.

Mustang dynos suck balls, and lot of them.

Yeah, the first 3 runs I had a 99 hp and 104/105 tq, which was another guy in the car because I was taking pics/videos, and I hopped in the car for the last run and pulled an extra horsie out of my baby for a whopping 100.4 hp and 105.6 tq. Here's the pics of today's dyno'ing (didn't take hardly any dyno pics cuz I was busy chattin it up with people and checking out Archer's main floor with Vipers galore!):

And here's a few pics and a few videos...one of the Neon and one of my buddy's turbo Del Sol, which put down a respectable 183 hp (don't know the torque):

Thanks Nate! The numbers are far from impressive, but now I have base numbers to work off of. Hopefully the numbers will increase sooner than later! I'm looking into buying a house though, so the funds for such things will be slim to none...and sadly, the car won't be my top priority anymore. I have to start my life and not throw everything I make into the car anymore.

Basically, since I knew that mustang dynos don't give you the best numbers. I just wanted to at least hit 100, and I achieved my goal and exceeded it by .4! LoL!

Thanks! It's pictures like that one that make me realize I really need to paint my hood hinges black!

Today I got another project done that I've been meaning to do since I did them in the first place...re-tint my taillights! I took a DA to them with 180 grit to strip them fast, then 220, 320, 400 and 600. Then I cleaned them up and shot 3 light coats of Nite Shades on both of them and fanned 2 more coats in the reverse light area. I think they came out really good, but they're still kinda dark and I hope I don't get in trouble with them again. They are MUUUUUCH lighter than before though...they were pretty much black before this. Anyways, here's the pics:

I know, I'm very happy with the outcome. Of course, when the sun isn't directly on them, they do get a bit on the dark side, but eh...what ya gonna do?

They look great! And I've been telling you to do those hinges for awhile! Kinda like you've been telling me to do my interior pieces. Just get some SEM trim black and spray them real quick it holds up VERY well IMO.

And nice can o clear coat :D

Thanks hun! The tails came out great and am very happy with them. They look 100x better than the first time IMO. And I was gonna get the hinges pc'd, but I'm just gonna do them when I re-paint the bumper, hood, spoiler and trunk lid this next winter. If I'm bored some day I might just do them though...

And yes, it IS a great can of clear! That isn't the one you got me though. I gave that to a friend of mine that needed to clear a few things. I bought a new can at a local paint store. Shit's great! I may cut-n-buff them, but I think they look great the way they are.

So I was talking to SXXXT and we worked out a deal so I'll be getting these headlights from him:
Image

When they go on the car, they WILL NOT be chrome and they WILL NOT have the turn signals above the projectors. I have plans to mod these...

Lights look a lot better, but still too dark for my taste. I liked those LEDs the way they came black with clear housing. As for the projectors, should be interesting as long as they're not chrome. I'm partial to the black housings but the shrouds are terrible and I'd rather see you run projectors now that you have HIDs
