wow guess the neon world is not ready for burberry type fabrics.

i like it though.seems to make the cabin look bigger. and if done with nice fabric i think it would look very nice.keep the comments coming

Suede.
Never been a fan of plaid, but to each their own, like LilSparkPlug said "If you like it....thats all that matters." Tho I have to agree it does make it look bigger inside.

I think the VWs can pull it off because the old GTIs came with "plaid" seats. I dont know if the neon can pull it off. Plus I dont think I would put that type of pattern at eye level. I think my brain might eventually explode!:tardbang:
With that said I do like it. Im might do a type of micro suede.

If you could fine plaid pattern with black and orange in it it would look pretty good in your car.

not for me either... cuz it's in a v-dub, kinda "Euro" snooty style
...which, by the way, I'm getting kinda sick of...
why does it have to be "Euro tails" and "Euro style"
isn't that kind of over?..er like 1999 style?

Looks Euro, yo... Don't like it, and that doesn't look like Burberry or Louis Vuitton to me anyway.... Leave that to the ballers in their Escalades... But if you like it do it. I personally hate it though.

hmmm, all the hating on the plaid.has anyone ever looked to see how many american cars/trucks have come with plaid??? prolly quite a few more than you may think.suede and other materials are played.everyone has them.even the ballers in the suv's.even tho i am in fact planning on my seats and door insert and pillars to be suede and then the headliner to be a nice subtle plaid.with some orange.give it a sense of space and comfort if you will.i also like the gucci patterns for the headliner but i realy dont know what i will find that will be THE ONE thing that i just have to do fabric wise.the thing i notice is that many people compare to other car trends and styles and say"nope, not on a neon" before giving it credit for what it is.why not a neon?? neon styles are boring for the most part.dont get me wrong i love clean cars.and there are many of them on here, but i can only take so many mopar lipped cars with cuda stripes and basic bolt ons before i start looking for other ideas, and other ideas are all around.and before i get flamed for having one of these mopar lipped neons, let me say i know what my car is,and i know where i want it to go.sorry for the long post just had to say it

Good for you man... do what you want.. As long as your happy with it
On my old buick I took off the headliner.. Went to the art store and bought a bunch of different color felt.. Cut them into squares and tiled it.. It looked crazy cool
A cop even pulled next to me once.. Asked what we were smoking.. I said nothing.. So then he was like then what's the deal with your ceiling

Just a little too busy for my taste. But I also love plain vanilla ice cream.....mmmmm!
