Im not big into politics but ill find someone who has the same point of view that i have and go with it.

race and gender.. none of that should matter and be the deciding factor in someone's vote. Everyone should be looking for the person who they think is most qualified to do the job and get it done right.

Well what if a person feels that a Black man is more qualified to do the job because he is black ... or a white man for the same reason. What if someone does feel that race is a deciding factor in what that person see's as a qualification to do the job and do it right.

I feel its hyprocritical for people to say what other people should think. Do I base my judgements of people based on skin color ... of course not ... I am not a racist person ... but to play devils' advocate I don't want someone forcing me to think a certain way because they feel it is right or wrong. Its my right to think whichever way I want.

Sorry felt like playing devils advocate for a moment. I hope everyone understands that and that I am not saying I am racist, etc, etc, etc. I just don't like it when people force other people to think the same way just because they feel it is right ... its fustrating. (Even If I do agree with the quoted post personally)

I support a persons right to choose. However, choosing who should be your President based on the color of his skin (not something of his choosing) over an important issue, abortions, taxes, the War in Iraq, etc (and many many many other issues) is simply retarded. My opinion, and I will continue to give it anytime I want to. That is one of the many freedoms our President should protect, whether he’s black, white, Mexican, Asian, freak/goth or preppy. If that is truly the biggest thing they think of when going to cast their vote, then I wish I had so few problems…
