So a friend of mine wants to put an aftermarket HU on her Scion Tc but she wants to use the controls on the steering wheel. How do i go about doing this? shes guna get an Alpine CDA-9886 if it helps any. I need to know ASAP cuz im guna do this next week

since shes getting a alpine....i would buy her a PAC SWI-JACK to install....it keeps her factory steering wheel controls.

EDIT....nvm looks like it doesnt work with the factory settings.

you just have to find one of the right PAC controllers. go search the scion forums. something will pop up

So i went a lurked thru some scion forums and

$100+ to use five buttons on the steering wheel??? Is it even worth it??

NO! not even worth it. the buttons on the wheel are just for lazy people anyways...

but she IS getting a nice deck... i like it. maybe i'm a little biased though:D

if you cant find the right one you can use the PAC-SWIX its universal, just need a remote to program it
