What do you think?

Post by Sykora » Fri Sep 12, 2008 3:20 pm

Okay tell me what you guys think. I'm wondering if it's possible for me to get like these

Image
Mopar side skirts and rear and just get this

AIT front bumper? Will they all match or would it be a bad idea to mix and match etc? 'Cause I like the SRT style front but don't like the skirts or rear. Any tips?

Thanks,
-Eric

Go for it if thats what you like. Its all in what you want, not what anyone else does. Personally I don't think it will look too bad, since the Mopar R/T skirts are some of the best looking skirts available. The aftermarket ones are usually too bulky.

yeah exactly. I don't want to overdue it even though I want a body kit. How can I figure out if the lines will match up?

If everything is sealed when its painted you won't have issues with different shades (also paint everything at the same time thats another guarantee). I say go for it. Theres really no harsh lines on that front bumper that would counter the skirts you are interested in. If it were overly angular then I would say yes its not going to look right, but that's not the case.

I like people who BUY a 10 sec car and then brag about it. Thats like hiring someone to bang your wife and then bragging about the kid

sweet! thanks :) I'm gonna see what I can do. I'm moving back to Indy for school tomorrow and my uncle who's a mechanic lives a few hours from them- so I'll probably see if he'll paint 'em for me or something. thanks for the advice :)

I think it will look ugly. I think that is the best looking aftermarket kit out there, though. Stock Neon > Something with a body kit.

front bumper fiberglass? If so stay away...

Fiberglass kits suck...

Ask Opi about that... hell ask 99% of people with fiberglass kits.

they only suck if you dont know how to correct the fit issues your self, if you dont know how to work fiberglass then please stay away cause its gonna cost you some arms and legs to have it fit properly.

SRT side skirts are the way to go. They give the car a much better stance

You had a good thing going until you mentioned that front fascia. :banghead:

Complete lip kit FTW.
