the coilovers i am looking at right now are the BC inverted ones from modern.
http://www.modernperformance.com/produc ... ts_id=1731
does anyone on here have these??? they look like they would be a good choice with the front and rear camber plates.cause i want to run 17x8 wheels and i am thinking a little camber will be in order.
plus i have the sportlines right now and i want the front to go down another 3/4 inch and the rear maybe a 1/4 and i think these would get me there.but still be able to raise them for winter ect.
once again thanks for any input

If you just want to go low e-bay specials or ground control sleaves will get you 3 or so inches. If the inverted are more expensive just get regular you wont notice a difference.

^Agreed. Not that I recommend crappy ebay parts, but they do a good job of slammin the car to the ground. Might as well not even install dampers though cuz they'll be blown in a week.
The inverted design is just there to save unsprung weight. It's for performance, and has nothing to do with ride height adjustment. Keep in mind, if you spend a lot on expensive coilovers with a broad adjustment and keep them all the way slammed, make sure you have the dampers adjusted stiff enough to prevent bottoming out and overworking. Otherwise you might as well throw your money down the toilet right now and cut to the chase.

no ebay shit for me.never.lol
i dont just want to go low.its just i want to go a lil lower than i am and keep good handling.i hate fender gap but i need to raise the car in the winter.for a long time i was thinking of airride but i am worried about having a tank in my trunk with my kids in the back seat, so coilovers i think are the way to go.i want to try autox and road courses in the future so i may as well buy the inverted over the standard ones so i dont kick myself for it later.like i am now for going with the sportlines over coilovers in the first place

Now we're talkin. In that case the inverted ones are definatly worth the money. Air ride FTL.

Nobody agrees with me on this (except shock engineers and race car drivers) but forget any cheap non USA or europe made coilovers espicaly the dampers. BCs are ok to start on but koni/GCs are better way better. If you want to race pick up a beat 1gn you dont have to worry about smacking the wall then

Let me put it this way... I was told that the BC or pretty much any adjustable height coilover can go lower than my Eibach Sportlines... not that I would like to any lower than I'm currently sitting.
I've also been told by others that the BC are a great entry level coilover into autocrossing and track racing... pretty much they are the best bang for your buck, but are not the best coilovers ever made.

^ Its a feel thing. I will never feel right in a car that isnt 100% hooked up comming from karts so much is lost in the translation. Anybody who has ever said that "my car handles like a kart" is wrong. I am also way competitive so send my car out on track with out the best parts I can give it makes no sense to me.
Oh and apparently GC coilovers with konis are $499.99 for the set with no c/c plates

Tein is pretty much the same as BC when it comes to dampers but for a show/slam it to the ground car they should work.

EDFC doesnt allow ride height adjustment. It is for dampening only. It uses a stepper motor that basically "clicks" the adjuster knob on the top of the damper for you. A lot of money to spend considering how accessible the strut towers are in the Neon/SRT-4. I'd save the money and get other suspension goodies!
Oh and BYR, TEIN is NOT a "show" suspension company. Saying that they're only good for slamming the car is downright ridiculous. We're talking about one of the most track-successful suspension companies on the market right now. That's what the company is
about. The SS/P coilovers might not be desinged for all out racing, but they're sure the closest we can get. And a revalve job is just a phone call away

Keep in mind, some people's take on a race setup is a car that can hang in the canyons. There's more to racing than cone dodging on flat ground.
