powerlocks locks only 3 doors

Post by haste4daylight » Mon Sep 15, 2008 3:47 pm

my car was hit on the side by a truck and it did its damage. The driver's door didn't open from the outside and the passengers door on the driverside doesn't lock when locking my doors ( I have to manually lock it ) Is this more likely damage to the electrical wiring that operates the door to lock from the P/Ls?

The accident probably damaged the wiring for the power locks in the rear door.. if you take the door skin off the inside, you will be able to see the wiring. Check that over and you should find your problem.

could have knocked the acuator loose and is no longer touching the locking rod. take the door panel off and see. It is the only way to find out.
