Finally got my head unit and iPod install done...an Alpine CDA-9855 and KCA-420i. The iPod box is hidden in the dash (in a perfectly sized cavity to the left of the hvac controls) and the wire comes out in that tray that is just above the cup holders. My iPod fits very nicely and semi-concealed in it. I only have 1 pic for now...

Wow, very nice man. Sounds like a cool way to install the ipod. I always love the hidden surprises!
