hey all i was wondering if anyone has looked at schmidt wheels??
i was looking around the wheel and tire threads on the volkswagon forums cause many of there cars are 5x100 with a 57.1 bore and i came across a few pics of them and i think they are sick.very spendy but so nice

makes me want to start saving for a set over the next year or so.the only prob is they are like 2k a set so i dunno.just want to know if anyone else has looked into these wheels,thanks

Is it just me or do a lot of VW guys like dish wheels? How do they pull that off? Rolled fenders only get you so much room.

^^^I know,i love the look.they run so much negative camber and pull/roll the fenders and hell i dunno but iam jealous...love big lips and wide clean wheels

Its a durability test. They are proving the wheel is strong and can take lots of abuse. Impressive amount of abuse to stand up to. Still a fugly set of wheels in my opinion but damned durable thats for sure.

^^no those fenders are are stretched/pulled and rolled to get that flare,i love the look of the dubs with the fenders done like that.now i just need to do it to the neon.

i have a VW friend coming over to see what he can do about pulling/stretching them. the thing is vw's fenders are flared pretty damn wide from factory, so it's a lot easier for them.
