I am not dogging you for everything you said, i'm *possibly* picking up a 2.4L SRT engine tomorrow myself. But being so narrow minded is obviously one thing that doesn't improve with age from us "kids"

I am old and definitely not narrow minded... and am getting out of my Neon too.

Been taking the bike to work on a regular basis all summer. Now I'm considering modding the bike and adding some electric power. You know... for those hills this old fart cannot quite cut it on anymore. LOL

man, I go to Dallas, which is the worst city i've ever stayed in if you don't mind me saying, with no internet access for a couple, and people want to have a discussion because I gave an honest answer about me being over the SRT as a car.

Eh.. My "hate" goes to people who think there isn't anything better out there. There is always a better car and I love pointing that out to fanbois. The Neon was/is a basic economy car with no aminities. The rawness of the SRT wore off pretty quick. After awhile the rough nature of the car just rubbed me the wrong way. The paint was litterally falling off the car, the interior was falling apart and I had rattles and creaks coming from who knows where. I spent a lot of time cleaning and maintaining my car only to have it fall apart. It became a chore to drive every day, it may of been fine for a project car driven every weekend or on track events.. but not to a from work in traffic with every rice boy or redneck trying to race you.

From a performance stand point, my car ran 11s on slicks with very little money invested. Not very many cars can you say that about. BUT the car handled like monkey shit. It was scary at the limit and had a terrible tendacy to understeer, and then as you changed your throttle input, it would snap oversteer. It was not predictable at all. Predictablility is what you're looking for in an autocross or roadrace car. Sure, I could of thrown a bunch of money at it to get it to handle right, But IMO the chasis in general isn't made for the type of stuff I like to do.

I was over the Neon. I will not drive/own another one. I'm much happier with my MS3, and I will not sugar coat any of my opinions, thoughts, etc. I do not think the MS3 is perfect, I know its flaws and there are a bunch of cars I'd rather have. I'm not a Mazda fanboi. But for the money I paid you couldn't get a better car with zero miles on it.

I am always open to give advice, I may be blunt but I will help out anyone who needs it. Send me a PM. I usually return them pretty quickly... thats if I'm not in some shitty town in shitty hotel without internet connection.

Peace Homies.

oh and to the person who said I was butthurt because my mazda lost to an SRT4? Wrong. I do not drag race the Mazda, but I will say that the couple SRTs at the autocross usually finish about 4-5seconds behind me and they have coilovers and r compound tires. so Pfft.

No I'm not getting out of my car. She is going up in value every day it seems like...I bought her from the dealer for 16k and I've had offers of up to 19k for the car since it is stock and has low miles - I baby this thing way too much. It goes into a climate controlled garage from Oct. - April and gets washed every week it is out during the summer.

I'll keep her nice for you Josh :)

Mox, you are one of my favorite members of this forum. I am also inclined to giving blunt answers. He just does it so much better then I do. I sold all my neon's for a while in favor of a WRX but you never know when things in life have a way of changing things. I doubt I will ever own another neon other then the one I have now. I bought it because the one thing I have yet to do with one is make a show car. I have done everything else. I sold my last one because it never ran right. No matter what I did the ECU could never make up its mind on how it wanted to run the car. In some ways my WRX in stock form handled better then my neon ever did and I did everything you could think of to one to make it handle good. I still have a Subaru, a mazda protege, and might own a miata soon. I respect Neons, honda's, subaru's and toyota, hell all cars. I have my opinion and dammit I'm entitled to have it. If I'm not then someone better show me where in the Constitution its says I can't. I sure hope they can't cause then I'm going to feel real stupid for wearing this silly green uniform all the time. So all you people bitching and whining like a bunch of babies get over yourselves and go some where else. I stopped going to the other site because of crap like this.

How are folding mirrors something worth mentioning in a sig...? Did you run out of aftermarket parts that you had to resort to naming OEM stuff?

Adionik, Frank is right. I merely listed a "mod" I did to my car. It didn't come with them, neither did the srt-4 spoiler.... I'm sorry, not all of us can claim that we have 02 SXT door handles in our sig. I settled for second best. Chill dude... it's only the internet :thefinger:

Oh, also I fixed my sig. for you, douche bagalow... I added another :quotes: real :quotes: mod..
