Make sure the system for the front headlights are HID using a retrofit system like you find on HIDPlanet.com. Order the Mini HID kit as well for fog replacements. For clear sides, ModernPerformance. For clear third, MoparPerformance. For clear tails... don't. The stock tails look better than all of the "Altezza" breeds. Instead of going clear on these, drop two clean coats of nightshades (you guessed it, ModernPerformance) or do the black pantyhose mod.

Also get some silver glass bulbs that glow amber for the corners and ambers. Keep in mind, there is no red bulb out there that will not look gheyish pink within a month.

Hahahaha, I remember that mod! :D When I got my first car, a black 1990 Pontiac Sunbird, they didn't make blackouts for the taillights so I ended up trying that trick... Hahaha, I forgot all about that until I saw this post. It actually looked really good and you couldn't tell what it was until you touched them... It was quite 'ghetto', but it worked. :D

 Sometimes it's good to be lost.

It's a mod where you go get some black pantyhose (from whatever source your fetish desires) and pretty much drop your whole taillight housing into it and tie off the back behind the assembly... Replace your taillights and wah-lah - You have tinted tails... You can even still see the light through them. It actually DIDN'T look that bad until you tried to wash them when you were washing your car. That was a little tricky. Regardless, it's a ghetto mod that should only be tried when you're flat ass broke - Like I was at the time. Oh yeah, and you have to be careful to 'not get a snag.' Even if they were to snag, replace 'em for another $2.

HI EVERYONE!

I'm from Germany, driving a 2nd gen Chrysler Neon LE 2.0 .
Yesterday I finished my work on the front indicator lights (dunno if that is the right expression) . It is still quite unusual in Germany to illuminate these (...) lights, see examples.

I don't want my Neon to look like a German car, I want it to look American - and that's just the beginning.

As you can imagine it's not easy to get the original parts (i.e. from my local Chrysler dealer)...

Please tell me wether you like it or not, I appreciate any comments :)

"stay tuned"

Jay-B, EU

I have a 2000 and bought the new clear headlights, side markers, tail lights and third brake light all on ebay. The only one I regretted was the third brake light. But that was my fault. I wound up getting another one from Modern. I think the headlights were 90, markers 20, and tail lights 80.

Modern and Ebay are my toy stores

There is nothing wrong with spinners. They are funny. I like when dudes lower their trucks on 13" wire wheels with 0 offset and chrome mud-flaps. They are funny too. The best is the hood scoop that is installed with double-sticky tape. Sweeeeet!
Oh, and don't forget the Calivin pissin' on La Migra' sticker with your spinners yo! Gosh I love California. It's funny.

Driving lights are pretty much the same thing as fog lights, but clear. They're made to help out your headlights in night-time illumination.

oh, ok - fog lights ... in Germany we are not allowed to use them until it's time to use them :) (foggy, rainy, snowy weather). If you use them in city traffic (esp. at night) and get nabbed you gotta pay retribution...

Using them on the Neon looks awsome...!
