Wanted: Advice, Tips & Hints... LOTS OF THEM!

ok, so im getting ready to do my 2.4 Swap in my 2000 neon. im going to be using a 96 2.4L plymouth breeze motor and most likely a 97 Dodge Neon 5 Speed transmission. basically i want to know what i need to do to successfully put it in my car and be able to drive my car like i can now. questions i have consist of

will the motor mount in properly with my stock mounts?
will this motor and transmission work good together?
do i need to switch my computer or anything like that?

anyways thats enough to get started. anything else that i should know please leave here for me too read. also please read other peoples posts on here to see if they say the same thing your saying and if you think you can make it more clearer and easy sounding please do so. thanks

I guess I will post on here before the attack dogs get you. First go to the other org and on here and read up on the 1ST GEN 2.4 swap and the SRT swap and combine info as needed. Everything you need to know is there.

question's one and three the answer is no...I dont think a 97 trans will fit the 2000 either, but I am not sure. Just buy a srt-4 transmission and be done with it. Then you get the lsd also, and its a direct fit.....
