Flowmaster 40 series on a 00 NEON?

My fart can muffler fell off today

, and my step dad gave me his old flowmaster 40s muffler for the mean time. Will it sound okay or ricey please need help before I weld it on.

Buy a cheap adapter from Autozone if it doesn't already slip on, and rev it sitting in your drive. While it won't be as loud as driving under load, it should give you a ballpark idea of what to expect. $3 for an adapter would be worth knowing if you will live with a good choice, or bad.

Well I put on the muffler yesterday and the thing is quiet, you can only here it when floor it, and I have been getting compliment on how nice it sounds.
