Bumper question

Post by bris » Fri Sep 26, 2008 12:35 pm

Hey guys. sorry been trying to search for it and I dunno if its just not my day today but I can't seem to find it. I've got an 02 R/T and unfortunatley I drifted into a guard rail trying to avoid 3 raccoons. I'm trying to figure out if the rear srt-4 bumper will fit my car if I keep my stock r/t taillights

thanks guys

no it will not. you will need to switch to 03+ tail lights.

but once you switch to 03+ lights, the bumper will bolt right on. might have to watch for the exhaust cutouts though.

:withstupid: The tips on your R/T are too close together to fit the SRT cutouts.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

well you could always go w/ aftermarket tails.

I put the SRT rear on my 01 R/T and bought the Mopar 3D tails

Scott, did you replace the foam impact pad with an SRT foam pad or did you leave your '02 bumper pad? Is there any give when pressing on the bumper from any dead space where the SRT foam pad may have filled if it's a different shape?

No, i didn't change the foam insert. I probably should have but maybe another time. Don't even know if there is much of a difference. Never saw an SRT insert. And there is some play in certain spots.

Jason.. did you get my PM?
