Missing anything...?

*******UPDATED *****
Well i traded it in along with my civic hatch. It was time. I got a new job promotion and I couldnt drive that car in the winter along with the hatch which was slowely braking and rattled like a bitch. I purchased a new 08 civic si. My dodge will be forever missed, but wish me luck on my new endevour. Thank You everyone for all the great comments, all the memories, and well..all the love and attention the car got from you guys. Thank You :'(

Hey guys. Im interesting in seeing if my car would be able to sell for a decent offer to someone that can take care of it and take pride in it, and not some kid that will race it up and down their block and one day crash it. :'( Below is all information regarding the car, what it has, and if you think I missed anything, PM me or respond to the post. Ill try to check back as often as possible. Car is located in Orange County NY.

If it sounds like a post from ebay, it is caused I tried selling it a while ago on ebay..I saved all the info so I didnt have to write it all over again..

Ok here we go...

This has been my project of 4 years. I purchased this car from a dealership with 3 miles on it. Ever since then, the car has snowballed into what it is today. As you can see, there is nothing Neon about this car. Everything has been modified tastefully and with precision. I was never one to do something the cheap way.

This car is definitely an eye catcher and an attention grabber. This car has won me numerous 1st place trophies over the years and everyone who approached me would say, "I hate neons, I think their ugly, but yours is definitely HOT." You can see for yourself that this is definitely one HOT RIDE.

This car now only has 22,XXX miles on it, thats pretty awesome for a 4 year old car. This car was never beaten on, raced in, it was adult owned and I took nothing but good care of this car. I have had it maintained on a regular basis, and oil has been changed every 2000 miles. Was only driven from May through October months. NEVER IN THE SNOW! I also have most of the receipts for all work done to the car, along with all paperwork when I purchased the car.

Looking for serious offers. I would like to get around $10-12k for the car BUT I would like to hear any REASONABLE offer. I am not interested in any trade vehicles.

I am not responsible for delivery, it is pick up only, unless we can work out some agreement somewhat close by thats reasonable where we can meet up.

not trying to bash but you might want to consider dropping that price considerably. You can get a low mileage srt for the same price...high and low modified ones. Although, the mileage on this car is GREAT and the entire car looks great...it is still something you have to consider.

Props on the ride though.

Even on a feeler post, you need to provide the required For-Sale info. Thanks.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I did some research on what is needed, and I looked at other posts, yet didnt see rules of what info is required, and I just did what others did as well. I emailed someone to get permission for the posting. What other info is required?

People just see the price and see its just a neon/ non srt and they automatically say..its too high. If you look at the amount of detail/work in the car you can see its a hell of a lot lower then what I paid for. And I know thats obvious selling a show car. The body kit alone you cant touch for anything less then 2 grand. The car itself on kellys blue book with that amount of miles is 10-11 grand. The stereo system and fiberglass ran me over 4 grand. Rims tires suspension setup, another 2 grand. Just that lil bit what I said not including tvs, interior fabrication, engine mods, etc etc your already at 18grand. Im asking for people to throw best offers at me. But im not going to sell it for 5 grand, your crazy, i might as well keep it, strip it stock and drive it around town. Its practically a brand new car. Find a neon thats 4 yrs old with 25k miles on it, never smoked in, never driven in rain/snow.

You think the SRT isn't an econobox?

Those have just as shitty resale value as non SRT's do. The bad part about SRT's is they're actually worthy of higher prices.

OP: Here's a bit of knowledge that I thought was pretty common: Modifications dont make a car worth more. As far as the buyer community is concerned, they actually hurt the resale value of the car. I personally would never buy a car that has been "heavily" modified. It's not only a liability for the reliabilty of the car, but it plain takes the fun out of owning the car in the first place. Most cars, including Neons, should be sold for their blue book value, regardless of mods. If you need to make more than that, I highly recommend parting it out. That's the only way to come close to making some of your money back.
