Catalytic Converter vs Cat Delete Pipe
I was looking at modernperformance.com and was looking at perhaps purchashing the MPX dual exhaust and there's an option for Catalytic Convert or Cat Delete. Can someone explain to me the difference, the benefits of both as well as the downsides of both?
Thanks a bunch!

As long as you run a solid muffler system, the cat option wont make a huge difference in sound. Straight pipe w/o the cat is going to be super noisy though. BYR said it best.

The cat delete is just cheaper version of a true high flow cat. Get a magnaflow/car sound high flow cat, it's as straight though as you can get while still being legal. I got one for my old car, and if you hold it up to the light you can actually see through it, not clearly but you can see light through it.
I hate to be a stickler, but there is a very good reason for cat. converters. I would bet money the magnaflow cat flows just as well as a test pipe without the ozone destroying emissions.
