Photo Shoot (56k go wait for AIM Express)

Post by racer12306 » Sun Oct 05, 2008 8:47 pm

I really want to get into the 2009 2GN Calendar since it will more than likely be the last year that I will be able to. I took a lot of shots, I'm sure some are bad, some are ok and hopefully one or two will be great. I haven't really taken pics since high school and that was only required shots. Without further adue....

Some from the front may look the same, however if you look in the upper corner on the driver side of the windshield you will see in some there are stickers from Carlisle and not in others.

Let me know which you think should be submitted. Posted numbers for easy reference.

Personally I like 9 and 12. I wish there was a way to keep the car large in 12 and maintain the silo but there isn't unless you took it on an upward angle. The other ones the sky is blown out and they look over exposed. The car looks great though!

I like 20 also but its too overexposed :(

You should toss them all and pay someone millions to shoot your car.

Or just use what you have since I like them! Nice pics man, great site to take them!

Yeah, I thought they were a little over exposed. I was using my fiance's mom's camera. Its a Kodak C813, 8.1MP but I have never experimented with settings on a point and shoot. I just pointed and shot.

Just editted out the front tag in photobucket, made a couple boo boo's so there are a few white spots. So don't mind them.

When I scraped off the Carlisle stickers I broke the damn blade, I couldn't believe it. So I had to scrap the glue off with this:

Wasn't fun.

silo shots look great but the car is to small. and i agree definitely need to work on the exposure as well.

idea...........park the car father away from the silo, thus getting a close up of the car and able to get the whole silo in the background. I will be experimenting with this hopefully next weekend.

I'll have to see what I can do. Pics will be scarce for a while. This was pretty much my last weekend of the month to be able to do anything and I don't know how November will be.

I think this is just a good reason to get a DSLR.

they look good.

but i suggest next time to take the pics either in the morning or sunset. because mid sun messes up your exposure.

Anyone else with suggestions on what would be good calendar shots? Regardless of the exposure. I can atleast duplicate the pic if it can't be fixed.
