The time has come for life to make me a liar. I swore I would never sell my car...I would always keep her since she was worth more to me than what I could sell her for. But life has changed, I'm going to be a dad soon, and I haven't found a decent excuse to keep the car other than my own love and pride.

So, I need to know what "quicksilvr" is worth to a fellow 2gn person. I figure the only way to sell the car complete with all the mods is to someone who knows and appreciates them all....if I just sell the car to some hooligan on eBay, I might as well part it out quite a bit first. If you go to my garage (link on left side of page) you can see all the modifications. I've done all the work on the car myself. If you're familiar with my car at all or turbodudey's car (my brother) you'll know how I like to do things.

Short list of the big items: Mag head, Comp 200 Cam, Mag intake manifold wired to work (WOT and TPS switches), AF/X Race ECU, Jet-Hot Coated Fast Fabrications custom long tube header, Tru-Bends custom 2.5" full Stainless exhaust, MPx underdrive pulley, Adam K overdrive pulley, intake, LFS 60mm TB, suspension stuff, wheels, some minor cosmetic tweaks. Car has 112K on the odometer. The interior of the car is basically mint. The exterior is very sharp, but has some minor flaws. Stock options are power sunroof, power locks/windows, keyless entry (all been programmed to work with the AF/X Race ecu), etc. The car is fun to drive, it pulls hard, and would pull harder just with a bigger cam. The small cam is the bottleneck right now. I was going to build a high compression bottom end, put a Crane 14 in a ported/polished Mag head and then call it a day.

The $$ I really need for the car at this point is $4500 (I just bumped the price $500 cause that's what I'm advertising in my local paper). There's that much in parts, so if anyone really wants the car as it sits, I consider it a great deal. But I also love my car.

Give me some interest or suggestions, I'm open.

PS. My dad, brother and I are going to keep turbodudey's car to play with...that is the real reason I'm somewhat ok with getting rid of mine.

Quick update: I put the car on craigslist 2 days ago...and I've had like 12 people call me. I've got one guy looking at it today, and 2 looking tomorrow.

I didn't think craigslist was that hot. I'm happy though, cause I need to sell it.

So if anyone on here really wants it, you better hurry, cause it'll be gone next week.

I got the red M badge by accident. I ordered an aluminum badge insert for an SRT-4, and the vinyl M came extra. I proceeded to sell the actual aluminum badge on SRTforums, and I just kept the M.

Cool, how much HP does it have and have you run it at the track? My buddy is looking into a getting something like this. He might call you actually. He's needing a quick daily driver thatll get decent mileage.

I'm guessing that it makes right around 140-145 at the wheels. When I dynoed it without the AFX race ecu and without the full 2.5" exhaust, it made 133whp...and it was even a crappy dyno pull. I would say that 145whp wouldn't be too overly optimistic.

I've had it down the 1/4 mile once. Well, several runs, but only one night. I didn't have good motor mount inserts and I had heavy 17" SRT wheels at that time, and not near as much stuff done to the car. My 60' times were horrible from the wheel hop, and the best I did was around 16.5 seconds. Guessing (again) now, the car should do a full second faster than that, if not more with practice. Actually, with the AFX high redline, you could avoid the 3-4 shift in the 1/4, so that alone would help alot. 15 flat is probably attainable.

I would so part this car out and make MUCH more money off of it. The problem is time, and the fact that stuff like the exhaust, I can't just take the header off, since the entire 2.5" system is custom fit to that header (because of the length, the flex joint, etc). I'd have to sell the entire exhaust together in order to get rid of it, and then find an ENTIRE stock exhaust to go back with. Headache.
