i just sold my old car which had my system in it. 2 pioneer 12's (600watts max each) and a 760 watt pioneer amp. ok so i take the system out and all the wiring and install it in the neon and the neon just dont like it very much. blew 3 fuses in one day. (the fuse that goes on the power wire to the battery. all three fuses were 40amp fuses. what the hell is the problem. oh and by the way it sounded really shitty in the neon. 54669386936376937869387x better in my old car and it was bigger than the neon. someone please help me
thanks

I assume you don't know the purpose of a fuse. When a fuse blows, it means that the circuit it was protecting had an excess amount of amperage that was not used on it's intended load (i.e. amp). Replacing the fuse is NEVER the solution. It blew for a reason, not just for the hell of it. You probably have a short-to-ground on the wire that the fuse is installed in, causing the amperage to find the weakest link (fuse) in place of the load (amp). An internal issue with the amp is also a possibilty.

You mentioned it was in a larger car before, so I'm assuming it was tuned for that car. When you switch everything into another car you have to retune it.

that amp pulls 60A you have a 40A fuse inline.. thats your problem. plus make sure you dont have both subs briged.
