Outgoing mortars and explosions should be putting you to sleep by now

Awesome glad to hear everything is going well and that you are headed state side.

Another year and I'll be out that way or some other place they decide to blow up.

Haha... yea well with the guy next to me snoring his brains out and the mortars....I kinda just woke up. :laughing3:

Anyhow... I found out our chief found a way to justify us staying into the month of November... so our late OCT return just got turned into a supposedly early November return.

Not a WHOLE lot longer..... but enough to piss me off.

Just pull the Lethal Weapon thing and tell them "I'm too old for this shit." Maybe they'll send you home on time.

Man...I'm back off my supposedly last mission... :D

And Mox, I feel real real real old... wearing my IBA (armor and shit while bob tailing)..

I'm the convoy commander driver...which means we normally don't have a trailer... so bob tailing in a pos tractor down the shitty iraqi roads is VERY VERY bouncy... it's starting to take a toll on my back... after 9000 + miles of that shit... I'm tired.. lol

Thanks for the good wishes guys..

I'm so ready to be home... I do feel for the Army guys who do 12 months +..

6-8 months and I'm good...I've enjoyed myself over here and am happy to do my part... but not for 12 months at a time :D

So now it's just a few weeks of sitting around playing video games and chatting with us on 2gn until you get to go home?
