So looking at my time slips I realyzed I had a major problem. Plugs and wires were supposed to be new so I investigated and took wires plug and coil pack out. Turned out all plugs were gone and wires too... Changed everything and now car is really unbelievable, going back to the track this week-end.

Started my pt imitation of interior, did only one door panel in suede to see how it would turn out.. if I like it leather's coming in.

Starting over!

Post by tominator » Sat Sep 05, 2009 6:23 pm

Since my project wasn't going the way I wanted, I started to use my demon as a daily driver for quite some time. Took most of performance parts out of it except my mid-tube header and crank udp , put a sohc 95 cam in....

Well I decided after going to a meet here with friends to start again and do it right this time.

First redid the interior with a r/t badge interior (I don't know where that comes from)chrome shifter assembly, new console and driver door panel. Then redid my wheels really good black and orange. Then installed my front and back lip kit! Also bought a couple of parts. Magnum intake for a good box intake, shaved dohc pistons, dohc base, and magnum head to be prepared during winter. Gonna buy comp 400 and afx/r soon and start engine built for springtime. Glad to be back

The mess I started with

Console and seats out, broken door panel

Cleaned up and chrome shifter installed

Shim I made for shifter boot to hold up!

Shifter assembled and new console in!

R/T seats and new door panel.

Mopar lip kit and painted wheels, that's it!

The wheels look more red in the picture than orange.

But car looks better without those 3 spoke rims you had before. I'd day get some stick tail lights, and you're good to go.

Car is coming along real nice. Those rims look like the rare prototype SRT rims!

Are you selling those skirts?

Share a little progress with you guys and girls. Put 00-02 front and rear bumpers on, freshly painted. Started porting my mag intake, didn't have much time but I will finish it soon. Got my polished stainless top speed performance muffler on, sorry no pics with muffler on.

Also bought comp 400 from fellow member. Getting ready for rebuilt engine soon. Dohc base his sitting under my porch ready to be rebuilt

If I'm lucky with the Kaminari 00-02 bumper that I might get from another fellow member, I will give it the prototype look, for sure, just like that!

Thanks Tommy

Started undoing dohc base....not sure gonna use it, maybe rebuilt mag bottom end...had my beautiful comp 400 from a fellow member.
Changed the borbet wheels for brand new snowflakes with good tires, pics with new dual tips muffler, car's dirty. Looking to change my mid-tube Mpx header soon for a fast fab or blackdog long tube when budget permits

P.s. Ordered a Ms for christmas  might get it before.

So finally made up my mind! Had a really good deal I couldn't pass up on a complete turbo kit and management system, so I went for it!

Here's tha deal I got

Turbo AResearch TO4 A/R .60
Manifold SOHC
Downpipe
Intercooler
TiAL Wastegate Externe + Dump
Blow Off Valve TurboXS Type H

Base DOHC 2.0L Forged
Pistons JE
Eagle Rods
low Compression 8.8:1
New t-belt water pump, well everything his brand new!

Got an aem fic with the deal, and all kind of piping and stuff I don't really know wath they are for now, I'm just a starting in the turbo thing....

Had a 02 magnum ready, a brand new dynomax cat back 2 1/2 line with 2 1/2 inlet outlet muffler and a comp 400 I just bought from gunmetall. Think it's gonna be a nice setup.

If the guy on the other org didn't screw me up for my indy intake, it would have been fantastic on the mag up front!

So I'm really excited so I tought I shared some pic with you boys and girls! Thanks for comments inputs.

Magnum 02 waiting for dohc base and turbo. Thanks to my friend Ricky!

Major upgrades long time I did'nt come here, I went throught two first gen neons before selling everything and coming back to my r/t.

With the funds I raised from selling my two other cars i purchased a wrecked 2004 srt4 all in good mechanical shape except for one axle.
It had a stage 1 computer with greedy bov and AGP wastegate and bc coilovers.

So I did the swapp with my friend, redid the interior leather r/t rear and door panels, r/t tissue front ones till i grab some leather ones, only missing too install the coilovers and get a good polishing of body. Car his now boosting 18 psi and I'm really pleased with the way things turned out.... wonder why I didn't do this before.. :tardbang: Other updates coming soon!

Tried to keep it a bit on the sleeper style, keep a low profile...
Thanks for looking!

The crashed red one...

My baby with srt4 in it, 3 inch downpipe, 2 1/2 exhaust, 2 1/2 muffler. Needs an engine bay detailing and a hood kinda rusty.

Putting the skirts on would defeat his sleeper status.

Come on Ryan. Everybody knows that if you have side skirts on your car, you're putting down AT LEAST 300 WHP. You should know better than that.

Idc how "sleeper" you're trying to be....skirts wont be a dead giveaway. Everyone knows we're all slow but have skirts on.

My SRT skirts gave me closer to 1k in ponies to the REAR wheels alone.

Little update, put srt hood on and changed my 15 inches for 16 inches r/t 03-04 wheels. Installed my rear bc coilovers, need to fix the front driver's one, was bent a little bit in the original accident.

Thanks for looking.
