I actually kinda like the way the wheels that are on there now look. Everything seems to be coming along nicely! I'd also love to see those wheels on your car, but I think you'd need to have spacers made with a changed bolt pattern (5x4 1/2 maybe?) to get them to work right.

Eager...yes I am :) Love everything so far.

Well thanks for the comment Crystalmarie, I'm already going to the scrappyards around here to find a correct replacement for the wheels.

Still got lots of work to do especially on the interior side, shifter, seats..and deciding wich kinda scoop to put on, or not....

I like the car so far, but those wheels would look a lot better (IMO) if you painted the caps black instead of silver...

otherwise

Just put the car in winter mode, 15 inches steelies with good winter grip tires, we need'em as you can see. Should I take off the back wing, sides and put it into sleeper mode for next year?? Not decided yet.

Image

Put nice r/t 01-02 cluster in black with chrome rings instead of the old white one

Image

Next project, I took out the injector cover and can't decide on wich one I'm gonna paint orange and black, like them both :tardbang:

Now see, the steelies look bad-ass on there! The cluster looks right at home in your car too
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Just a little update, my friend has just bought a race ported and polished magnum head, so I'm getting his regular magnum one, gonna send it too be ported and polished, gasket and intake matched.

Swapped my mp 60 tb for an Lorenzo/Howell 60mm, wasn't happy with the mp.

Have some pictures soon, but here's how it's going to be for this year.

New mag head, p and p. Not sure about shaving the head 0.030 or going with forged 10.5 pistons?
60 tb Lorenzo
comp 400
Mpx two belt underdrive pulley
Home made cold air intake
mide-tube headers modern, I'm taking the cat out this year, 2 1/4 exhaust, stock r/t muffler
Phantom grip, something like that so both wheels pull at the same time.

The car looks like a mess now with about 12 inches of snow around here :cussing:

Yeah I love it I think it's from a 02 r/t but a friend of mine got one in his 2002 lx model. You can get one for 25$ at the scrapyard..

Did not really had time to work on my car last couple of weeks, so I decided to finish my air box so it would act like a cai and paint my injector cover, install my chrome front grill insert and little stuff like that.

Got really pissed off when I opened the hood and see all the paint that had been supposedly done by a pro just peeling from the motor, headers, fuel rail... :cussing: just everywhere. Plus some dumass stole my Dodge emblem in the front of the car.. Good thing head is coming off so I have to repaint everything in the engine bay myself this time. Pictures.

Wait, am I missing something? What part of the stock airbox is a CAI?

I can't go to the dyno for a while, divorce and two kids have prevented any spendings for a while, so Jerome, just like me, have to wait a bit for dyno numbers

The random1 for the Cai I just made an AEM cold air filter fit inside the regular r/t box, and, as asked in another topic, adding a bigger pipe at the end of the box would be just the same as having a CAI

Wow I love that cluster. And I feel you on the snow issue, its melting around here and thank the friggin lord because we've had far too much of it. That paint flaking off that way shows improper preparation before whomever painted it did so. I'd take it back to them and ask wtf the deal is. Most shops warranty their work for at least one year.

Hot Rod Angel, well the guy who redid me engine said he would paint it at the same time, should have known better.... I'm just gonna do the painting myself, when I take the head off late march. The cluster's really super I love it, paid a bit more cause it had the same mileage as my car, about 130$.

For the snow there we had about four feet up here with -40c with wind of up to 80 km an hour. Now it's melting with freezing rain :tardbang: go figure.

Jerome for the wheels, I tried to get older wheels with hubcaps to fit but it's a not gonna happen, so I'm starting to prep my wheels and powdercoat them same color as my car, the only part I'm not doing is getting the caps chromed, they are going to a chroming specialist.

Thanks for the comments

Sorry to hear the paint peeling off the engine components...that sucks. I may have a Hemi Orange R/T cover that was powdercoated that I could sell you, but I don't have it yet. The whole valve cover thing is really a mess, so I'll have to let ya know when things clear up.

Also, I'm probably going to have another injector cover decal made up this year sometime...if you're interested in another one, I'll just have him whip up a couple for me.

As for wheels...if you're interested, I just found a wheel that looks very close to the Mopar Magnum 500 wheels. It's made by Konig and it's called the "K-Tune". It's actually a real good looking wheel.

Hey there Brodie! Thanks for looking at the wheels, I'll try to get somebody to photoshop them, I really like them. Actually the first time I really think about changing my sunfire wheels.

I got an injector cover, I'm mostly looking for a valve cover around mid-march. My sister is printing me high output sticker's just like these for free,

Since you're the really good guy who's always willing to help me out, I could give you one or two if you want, just Pm me the dimensions you need if interested, they're really high quality pieces.

Thanks

These are the templates you sent me a while ago, it says High output on it, I think your's on your car says 16 valves?

Anyways it's no design change from the original you sent me.

Oh, now those silverstones will look MUUUUUUCH better than the Sunfire GT wheels! I think a possible flat black with a yellow stripe would suffice. Also, I think you should print out that "Neon" logo I made for ya and replace that with the "Demon" ones. Car's gonna look good!

Just got them new wheels installed today, from a 04 r\t model, think it looks really good. Also finished installing wingless trunk on my demon but was to dark for pictures. Got my unorthodox pulley, finally got my tb 60 mm and a real cold air from aem , and gonna take out power steering and air conditioning out..

Here's a couple of pics with them new wheels. New trunk will have pics tomorow. Comments welcomed.
