that is what the company states the amp will perform so if you have any worries be sure to buy from an authorized dealer and you should have no problems. also pay attention to the specifics of the warranty about things like installation. most electronic warranty policys state the items have to be installed by a professional to be valid.
i personally run cadence amps bought directly from cadence and probably will for the rest of my life. i had a problem with one and they repaired it under warranty and shipped it back to me, at no cost, with no questions. customer service is much more valuable than saving a few bucks from a discount web site.

does 600 x 1 @ 1ohm, so you could buy a set of 2ohm dvc subs and go to town. this is line line of amps i have and i love the power, and their ratings are 13.8v, not 14.4v.
if you are looking so save some cash you could always get a pair of

and then 4ohm dvc subs to end up with the same power. would be $100 cheaper total but i prefer the looks of the txa line. also, the txa line has all inputs and adjusters on the front panel whereas the sqa line has them on the sides. that is just a personal thing though.

idk i was hoping to run a single amp but i heard that i would need about 1800 watts with the 3/4 rule which says to take the RMS and divide by .75 thus giving u the total wattage of the amp i need if u understood correctly
so if i follow that rule you figure if i run them off one amp it would be 1400 RMS (700+700) / .75 = 1866.88 watts
or if i got 2 amps i would need them to be 1000 watts a piece 700 / .75 = 933.33 or 1000 watts

well, good luck with your search. i have never heard of your 3/4 rule but i can tell you that a cadence amp will do all it claims and more. 99% of amps are rated at 14.4 or higher, while the cadence are rated at 13.8 which is much more realistic for real life applications. i am not that familar with polk subs, so they may be under rated as well.
i currently run a txa-6004 to a pair of type-r subs and it is a match made in heaven.
