ADIONIK! and anyone else who cares... UPDATED pic...

Post by FAC3L3SS » Mon Oct 13, 2008 10:48 pm

Adionik wanted to see my car... since we did the same swap.

WELL....all i have are pics from the beginning of the summer, before paint.

I'm sure i'll get flamed, but i drove it like this for a WHILE.

i've since traded my r/t skirts with beyondspexj...i'm pretty sure he's on here, but we did it via SRTForums.

and yes, i posted a very similar post a WHILE back.

EDIT: this is before the can. i had a magnaflow dual in the last pic, and mufflerless in the others

So Adionik, this is the best i got for ya...since i've been away at school and can't really take out time for the whip.

2000 dodge neon FTW!

The front bumper, rear bumper, and hood look very familiar. I just can't seem to remember where they came from!

Looks good!

Nice dude. That color scheme is interresting and that drop is insane. Atleast now I will know what my car will look like with a drop. Were those eibachs or what?

Looks good. I could care less if I get flamed...car still looks better than a LOT of other neons out there despite it not being an SRT.

Are you goign to keep the car or getting rid of it?

A plunger, seriously? Wow, I wouldn't have even thought about using that to get the dent out. If I would've known, I would have that hood on my car right now!

Of course now I want a SRT hood. Going to buy another dented one for cheap and bust out the plunger :)

yup. the smaller diameter the plunger, the better it worked. just get it sealed on there and POP. took 2 pops for me.

in the pics, i had no muffler.

in the snow pic, i had a stock SRT catback.

then i had a 2.5" magnaflow dual for an SRT

then i got the ebay special 2.5" ...basically oem. oem style muffler and whatnot

so i cut the big oval muffler off and had my shop weld a $20 ebay can on it. no rust, awesome sound, no leaks, no complaints.

--------------------

around beginning of august. my transition paint. lol you can see the roof is still silver.

but there you get a better idea of the exhaust. oh and ksports coils FTW now

Wow dude that color is a little "bright" for me, but it is a neon afterall. The car's come a long way though from an SE.

perfect ride height. a lot softer than the strut/spring combo. stiffer than stock, but still VERY comfortable.
