Well as the title suggests... I wasn't really planning on taking an pix, but I just so happened to have a camera in my hand, and there just so happened to be a super sexy neon parked right in front of me, sooooo here's a few random photos I took

I tried to capture the fall colors in these

new trunk dress up

SRT spoiler after Matt buffed it out. I sanded some of the clearcoat off when I had to sand the thick white overspray off that was on it when I bought it

Without injector cover:

With new injector cover. I colored the lettering metallic silver

some ugly kid that owns the car...

Very nice!

It might just be in the pictures, but... the rad hose looks a little chalky and the coolant reservoir looks a wee bit dirty. <shrug>

hmmm... I'll look into it, but I don't think they are. That might just be the magic of photoshopping the pictures to attempt to make them look better haha

looking good.. surprised you got the High output cover and not the regular one.

you should also look into getting the tails painted to match the car. I was lucky enough to find a pair that was already painted. I think they look better IMO

yeah, someone was selling the trunk carpet and had the HO cover, so I bought it too. I'm not too concerned about not having an R/T, I still have a 2.0 though. At least I didn't get an SRT-4 cover for it. THAT would be bad.

As for the tails, I saw that pic and I love the rear of your car with the painted tails and SRT bumper. I have the paint to do it, but I think it matches the black stripes well, also I'm not sure if I'm keeping those or not. I've been debating selling them and smoking my stockers and putting them back on.

heres a dumb question, but has anyone ever attempted to tint the 3d tails? color matched and tinted that?

jake_tim - it will be lowered in the spring, after winter. I have the 2gn lowering springs with less than 1k miles on them. I will get the Tokicos closer to that time. I will also have silverstones on the car then too.

w0158981 - I had thought of doing that, and hadn't seen it done before. Although, now that I think of it, I think Opi may have had it done on his Neon.

I tinted my Mopar 3D tails I had when my car was black back in 2004. It looked amazing if I do say so myself, I'll find a picture of it.

Sidepipe: Car looks sexy as always! Put some rubber stop on that hose and it will brighten it right up.

Thanks Crystal! I'll have to look into that. I can honestly say I never worried what my car looked like under the hood because it was usually all covered in grime and oil anyway. haha. I forget that I have a pretty respectable looking car now, and I should actually attempt to do more than just wash it like twice a week.

I would like to get my hands on one of those Injen fuse box covers, but not for the prices they sell for new

Also, I didn't know you had the 3ds on your car at one point?? huh!

Thanks, bud... Unfortunately the pretty fall colors mean that soon that nasty cold weather that I dread will be here soon. I'm also dreading putting my baby through it's first winter

well with me anyway... I might cry when it's all covered in ice, and snow, and rock salt, and grime..... eww... poor car.

Definitely paint the 3d tails...

Opi did have them tinted and colormatched, but it was a super shitty job ( I know, I bought them from him, paint was bubbled, tint was thin in spots runny in others etc)

And, um... I thought you said you had a super sexy Neon in front of you? I looked, but must have missed it!

Nice little photo shoot there. Car looks quite good...but I have to slap you just a little for the H.O. injector cover

Looking at the pics of your car in the driveway I would swear that you live on my friends street

But a lot of neighborhoods in the Pittsburgh area look like that.

Thanks Dante. haha yeah I knew I'd get flamed for the HO cover, so it's all good.

Haha, and yes, a lot of Pittsburgh looks the same. You said your friend lives in Squirrel Hill right? Thats only like 10 minutes away from me, but certainly not the burb I live in

Damn I hate watermark-type thingies. Those shots would look so much better without them. Car still looks great, as you well know. Whats next in the rim department? When you putting those silverstones on?

Crystal, I have to get them PC'ed because a few of them aren't perfect and there is some corrosion under the paint bubbling it around the center caps... that won't do for my car... Also.... I saw a pic of Canada's old car and I really want the anthracite 6 spokes with polished lips he had. then apparently his brother (silversport) had on his car.. I guess they are Phaze by Fast wheels... can't find much about them... I want em though!! and yeah, watermarks ftl but I'm just posting what he gave me haha.
