on the dash... lol. i dont know. i just i was just wondering really if all you needed to do was supply power to the actuator to get it open.

Yeah, that's how electrically operated devices usually work... But why?

It would be a total pain to have to "manually" open and shut them at the correct RPM, unless you just want to experiment, or diagnose the actuator.

i used the msd tach adapter, and a vafc. I can adjust the point they open at and close at with a few pushes of the afc buttons.

If you get a tach driver you can build an RPM switch for about $10 radio shack goodness I will try to find the link. Just as a thought the best switch location would be either the traction control switch or the fog lights.

i'm also using a harlan rpm window switch, and i have to say, for 55 dollars, its awesome, works perfectly, was easy to install. Plus i didn't need to buy a Tach driver to use this.
