dodge ram/mopar emblems?

so im gonna end up doing a whole black and red theme with my car and i wanted to find a red either ram or mopar emblem to put on the front grill. tho i dont know where to look. im also gonna put red rams on the centercaps of each of my black srt wheels but those can just be like decals and i know a guy who can do those. it's that front emblem that i need to figure out...any ideas?

Why not just strip the chrome off of your current front emblem and paint it red?

well my emblem fell off somewhere cuz it got wet under there i guess and i checked ebay and they have one thats all red i dont really like cuz i like just want the outlining red haha idk...

ahh ok. Well maybe try finding one of those 'aluminum' replacement ones and paint the carved out area red?

I wasn't thinking you had the '01 front end anyway... I was thinking '03+ for some reason

yea i actually just found one of those mopar aluminum ones. it says its for srt 4s? all those front emblems the same size for every year and model?

Nope. The SRT emblem is larger.

This is a comparison between the SRT (left) and a 03-05 (right). The 01-02 is slightly smaller than the 03- non-SRT.

More importantly that's a lot of front end parts on that invoice underneath the emblems.

Someone got in a front end wreck.

I like the SRT one better. I'm thinking of painting mine silver, or putting a dullcote over it as I'm not a fan of the chrome.

well, I was gonna suggest this as a little add-on, (u said you were considering the MOPAR emblem)...but I see in yer sig that yer car is black... so I guess this wouldn't look as good...
I just removed the door...painted it silver, then traced a mopar 'M' onto some vinyl, stuck it on, then painted flat black, then removed the vinyl.

No, I didn't. I had sent a front emblem to a local body shop and it was incorrect. Turns out the Neon was a SRT-D and it used the larger emblem. The shop sent me a picture to compare the two. When this topic came up I thought "Hey, I have the perfect comparison shot!" The estimate underneath is for another car.
