That isn't the nitrous' fault. Its the fault of the person that installed it or tuned it or selected a jet that was too much extra power.

Nitrous is a beautiful thing, so long as its tuned and setup correctly.

i had a 75 shot of zex i loved it it ran great and i got the car tuned with a safc neo but the engine eventually gave out it was on a 2000 plymouth neon well im really thinking about doing a srt swap the car is payed off so its kinda like a project car yay haha

On a side note, a neon's stock internals should be able to handle a 75 shot of nitrous when used -conservatively-. Something else must have went wrong for that to happen.

Always a Zex kit you hear this crap about, I don't trust that box thats supposed to do everything for you.......go NX, and wire everything yourself. Oh, and get a wet kit, much safer.

I've got a zex kit now for my 98 :-/. I'm thinking you may have hit a rev limiter. What was exactly going on when you blew up? Did you ever get any times with the nitrous setup?

well my car is a 2000 so i dont have the ngc problem and my while runing against a gt mustang on the bottle i spun a rod bearing so i decided to sell the kit now the car had ben knocking for about two and a half years until it finally blew up hehe so now its time for a r/t or possible srt swap but the car really died because of two years of running on a bad rod bearing haha

nitrous caused it and i finished it haha its just a learning experience for me bit even still i wont be using nitrous anymore it was hella fun tho dont regret any part of it tho lol
