They FAIL. If you wreck a white one, for everybody elses sake dont tear it to the point we cant rebuild. Darwin Award candiates. With great power comes great responsibility, looks like someone was never taught that.

Today's society is so worried about everything but personal responsibility, it has become a cancer and it is almost terminal.

All I can say is irresponsible parents FTMFL, no reason you should be buying a 17-year old a car like that...

I would have to say it is experience that sets you apart mopar4life...you have been around fast cars and you know what they can do. Buying the typical 16-20 year old driver a fast car will always cause trouble.

To put a spin on this...maybe this happened to prevent something worse since this kid was a known HORRIBLE driver and street racer.

AGREED.. This is really too bad for both the car and the two kids. Your right what kind of parent buys their kid an SRT4 for their first car? Jeesh at least give it to a responsible driver. Accidents happen but in this case it wasn't an accident. It was a crash that was deemed to happen eventually. This just makes me think of all the young high school kids I see driving around my small town. They all see me or my friends and rev their engines or peel out. We take no interest because in a way they are just immature and have no idea what the hell they are doing. Stupidity and Irresponsibility FTL here.....

Speed + no seat belts + INEXPERIENCE (any age qualifies) usually equals something tragic. My car at 17 was white also but thank God it was a VW Beetle- no way I could have handled an SRT at that age (can barely handle one now, to be honest).

When they said one of the kids wasn't recognizable:

I haven't checked the link, but on the TV last night they had a clip of the officer at the scene using a grass rake to find remains.

Don't know what happened, but they were heading that fast, directly towards a stop sign. The road dead ends at another road. I don't think there was anyway they were stopping regardless. Either he had a brain fart, or something went horribly wrong. We will prolly never know. All I know is I would never knowingly be at that speed with no distance to stop. They knew the road, so that part doesn't add up, not that any of it does...
Speculation:
To be in a car with that much potential and have a throttle hang with seconds left to do something at that age/attitude - panic will definately give those results. You turn the key back too far, and you know the rest.

Thankfully the kids in my town dont have anything faster than fullsize Chevys. None of them can drive and think burnin the tires off, driftin and everything else is so "cool" while they all get hammered and drive. Its rather scary but oh well.

Midview sophomore Tyler Marrero says, "He wasn't a safe driver sometimes. I mean sometimes he would ask kids if they wanted to go ride in the car and they would go and sometimes he would take off out of here at excessive speeds and it wasn't the smartest thing to do."
The meatball made a mistake that cost him his life. He had it coming for him. I feel very sorry for his family and friends that have to deal with it.

I agree it is a life lost and it is a shame but are you going to feel bad for a heroin addict that od's? You get what you put in.

Wow, I remember that kid...he bought an STS from me about a year and a half ago...
That's really sad - I don't think seat belts would have helped them in that crash.

maybe? either way ill be dead. gone forever.. let me ask you guys a question. If your friend wrecked his/her car from speeding which most wrecks do involve speed. would you just be like oh they are stupid and irresponsible? i doubt it. everyone just likes to talk shit cause they dont know the person so they dont care. Im not speaking for everyone but I bet a majority of people on this site have done something in there car that deals with speed or almost an accident. They just got away with it and this kid didnt. Im not at all trying to prove a point or anything it just amazes me how people in america think these days...

Yes this is true, but some people won't look down on you if you got killed in a car crash and it wasn't your fault, rather than recklessly speeding and loosing control of your car, there is a difference. Even if he was my friend, of course I would feel beyond sad, it would hurt me deeply for a very long time, but nonetheless he still did something stupid that ended his life. And do not say people don't care just cuz they don't know the person, the kid is two years from my age, I can relate, of course I care young people are dying, its not something that is pleasant at all let alone anyone dying in a car crash. I feel remorse for this kid and his family, I ain't heartless, but that will never change that fact that he brought it upon himself...
