Lol. I have nice high quality kicker components. I already did it right. These I will have turned down really low. They arent' there to increase the SQ. I already have a great system imo. These are just there for the wow factor. Plus I only have 40. No more.Opi wrote:if you're going to do it, do it right
Thanks guys!

But is it just me, or does the left side of the passenger airbag cover is higher than the center of the dash in those two pics? If so that would drive me nuts seeing that the dash is so sweet otherwise.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Actually it isn't too bad at all. Not nearly as bad as people expect it to be. Driving down the road and seeing the trees and shit in my dash is awesome.50trimsohc wrote:Looks awesome. My brothers car had the top dash piece panted white and it glared so bad you could hardly see out the windshield when it was sunny. It glare at all being shiny and whatnot?
Thanks man.

So after talking and thinking and a dude on Oznium being the coolest dude ever. I went with these:
JBL P462 2-Way:
Power Handling, RMS: 50 Watts
Power Handling, Peak: 150 Watts
Sensitivity: 91dB
Frequency Response (±3dB): 75Hz - 23kHz
Mounting Depth: 1-7/8"
Impedance: 2 Ohms

I can't thank PwrRngr enough. He is giving me a good deal on these. Thanks man!

Dash looks good but it just looks to busy at the moment. Once you ditch the switch panel and put some differant speakers in there with girls that are painted to match it will look a lot better IMO. And don't bother with trying to get some speakers that sound good. You already completely trashed your whole sound stage by putting them there so just get what looks good. Get the kickers to match the rest of the system. And make sure you have a way to turn them down cause they are going to sound twice as loud as the ones in the doors.

Thanks for the info. And yes I know. The speakers I am getting are the ones posted above. But I actually had the pioneers hooked up for a while and it made it sound better than before. So I can only guess these new ones are going to sound amazing. And I plan on turning down the front a little and just turning the components amp up a little. And as of right now I don't have rear speakers. But plan on putting some in soon. As I took them out to allow more bass to come to the cabin. I love the way it all sounds right now.blue demon02 wrote:Dash looks good but it just looks to busy at the moment. The center consol is the next project. By next spring the entire interior will be all smoothed and painted black with small touches of the blue/green color. I am thinking about doing the center consol next actually. ThanksAdionik wrote:Dude you need to do something about that little green piece around the shifter...

Ya. I have read they are some great speakers. And I got the hook up so I am only paying 33 dollars for them brand new lol.supertrick_05 wrote:JBL speakers are just as good as Infinity speakers (I think they're made by the same company, just different brands) so in that respect, you have chosen some real good speakers!

They should look exactly like in that picture. Which look nice, and yet will still be able to continue the patter quite nicely. So those are on order and I should see them in a week or so.
Remember that roof consol I put in? I got a 5in tv screen that is going to fit perfect in one of the flip down compartments. That is on its way here and will be put in pretty quick I am guessing. And then I have another random 7in tv I have held onto and will put in somewhere.
