will 195/60/15 fit 04 sxt?

Post by 04 SX Roller » Sat Oct 25, 2008 10:55 pm

i have a 04 sxt neon and im hoping that the 195/60/15 tires will fit on my stock rims and stock struts/springs with no problems.

Will i have any issues with this setup?

Please and thanks!

those tires are 185/60/15 and if those are the same rims u got well then no u wont be able to get a diff tire size cause they dont make them. if i remeber correctly when i was buying tires for those rims like 2 years ago well there was only that tire size for it.

hope that helped.

Thats not true man. You can run 195/60/15, and I even ran 205/60/15 tires on my 05 sxt for a while. The stock aluminum wheels on our 2gns are 15"x6". My favorite size I've seen on our wheels are the 205/55/15 or 205/50/15, they look really good and fit under our struts very well. My buddy just mounted a set of drag radials in 225/50/15 for his SRT-4.

Here is a set of 205/50/15 BFG drag radials mounted on my 2gn 7-spoke wheels, put onto my 1gn.

Im not sure if they are the same but i have the same size tires on my 1gn and i had to smack the suspension a little bit with a hammer but otherwise they fit with no other problems.

My reg tires are 195/60/15's, I have fit as large as 195/65/15. My track rubbers are 205/50/15's

do you think that those BFGs would be decent for autox? I love the BFG rubber in the kdws for autox and i've always toyed with getting these for autox.

NO way. The sidewall isn't firm enough for cornering. They'll roll under themselves. They started doing that a little with me just taking corners kinda fast with 30 pounds of air in them.

Yeah, any drag radial is shitty for cornering.
