It isn't even making it to limp mode. It should stay in 2nd for that IIRC. Maybe take it to another dealer. Try resetting the PCM to see if it will drive/shift. My mom had a Concorde (basically the same ATX) which was doing similiar things. One place was all set to rebuild the ATX for a few grand. The dealer replaced some module that was attached to the intake mani. for $80 labor and parts. It shifted great till she traded it, on a Caliber. :slap:
Edit: The evap codes should have no effect on the transmission part of the PCM. Unfortunately with NGC it's all one unit, so if the controller is bad, then you are still getting hosed for a PCM.

One PCM to rule them all, one PCM to find them, one PCM to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them.

One thing I forgot to mention, the transmission fluid is a red, milky white color. The fluid was somewhat frothy after I got home, and it doesn't seem to smell like normal trans fluid either...

Check you engine coolant also. Possibly the cooler in the radiator failed mixing the two. Or you have a ton of air bubbles in the fluid from the wrong fluid level.

One other possiblity...where did you have the trans flushed? If it wasn't the dealer, find out what kind of trans fluid they used. Since you said it was shifting harder since the flush, there is a good chance they used the wrong fluid :beatstick:

ATF+4 was used, I am 100% sure of this. My mechanic and I both double checked to make sure what the car needed...

Bumper is off, and the car will be towed tommorow to a local shop. My normal mechanic doesn't do transmissions unfortunately.

I got a call about the car today...

Shift solenoid B has malfunctioned, and the car now only stays in second gear. The internal transmission cooler failed, and allowed radiator fluid into the trans. This is why the transmission now has a frothy milky white red color to it.

Transmission needs to be rebuilt with a brand new torque convertor. Everything in the transmission is being replaced with new parts, from clutches to servos...

$1750 is my repair bill...

Man,... IDK If was my cheap risk taking ass, I would have it flushed multiple times and replace the soleniod pack and go from there. But that would be if the clutches hadn't been soaking up ethlylene glycol all this time. That is the killer.
Look at the "bright" side, it's cheaper than a new car. Still sucks tho.

Replacing the solenoid still requires the tranmission to be removed, which means that since its out, everything might as well be rebuilt/replaced...

But yes, the clutch's are toast. The trans fluid just smells aweful too, burnt and disgusting...

Ahh well, I'm getting the car fixed, and selling it. Time to get another car, I'm sure everyone can guess what...

Good to hear! I was going to say, I wish I was closer to you and was able to score you a used trans for a few hundred and throw it in for you. But, it sounds like you're all set.

External auto trans coolers FTW.

Manual transmission FTMFW.

I was thinking to myself, if I had a stick I wouldn't have had this problem...

You live and you learn. This is my first car I purchased, I wanted to drive away in one the day I went into the dealer, I didn't want to wait 3-4 weeks for one with a stick...

Next time around, I'll happily wait 2 months for the car I want :)
